Welcome to AICA, where the world of robotics gets a little friendlier! Founded in Lausanne in 2019, the company originally comes from the Learning Algorithms and Systems Laboratory (LASA) of EPFL. Now based in the Unlimitrust Campus by SICPA, our state-of-the-art software has been developed to fit the need of industrial robotic lines.

The adventure started when our co-founders stumbled upon a thought-provoking realization: the intricacy of today's robotics. Why should programming robots be so complex? Can't we bring robot programming to everyone's fingertips?

We recognized that traditional robotic systems require high expertise and endless hours, if not weeks, of hard work. That's when we realised we could be part of the change. At AICA, we've crafted a cutting-edge technology that seamlessly integrates the power of reinforcement learning (known as Artificial Intelligence) with closed-loop force control. Our goal: ensuring robot programming and manipulation is not just simplified, but pushes boundaries and is enjoyable.
